Our purpose is to create a database out of so many pieces of information, that it will remove doubt about a person's mental health. It works like a jig-saw puzzle, which comes in a box with two thousand pieces. Only the final picture tells a person what the puzzle is about.

We market a CD that enables you to create your final picture step by step. Doctors can share the responsibility of handling patients' with all this information as guidance. Patients' completed pictures will be extremely useful to other psychiatrists, because they contain exactly the answers to the questions they will be asking.

Our Questionnaire is faithfully based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.(fourth edition, Text Revision) (DSM-IV-TR). It is a full first assessment. For some patients, this will serve to show that there is no psychiatric disease present. For others, even such a complete first assessment may not be enough.

This particular assessment is for adults. A childrens’ assessment CD is being prepared.

We strongly believe that your usage of this tool will contribute greatly to overall wellness.

This blog is a forerunner of a now functional website, Mypsypotential.com. The website is aimed at anyone who needs immediate psychiatric attention. If you find this blog difficult to use, kindly let us have your criticism, so that we may make the website as user friendly as possible.'

Sincerely,

Dr. Jean Blom M.B.,Ch.B. M.Med.(Psy)

Dear Colleague,

As a duly qualified and experienced psychiatrist, I offer you a service which will do two specific things for your practice:

1. It will give you immediate clarity as to the psychiatric element in your patient’s overall status.

2. It will enrich your working hours with relevant specialist support so that you may handle your patient’s psychiatric needs with ever- increasing competency.

The full assessment CD, which is available to your patient at a price far less than the cost of a first psychiatric appointment, will give you enough insight to refer, or not to refer. Should you decide to refer your patient to a psychiatrist in your area, this complete database will be one step further for that specialist already. If your specialist colleague would honor us by establishing a triangular team, the patient would benefit immensely.

When your patient is in your own care, before or after seeing another psychiatrist, specialist support will be as near as clicking into the ‘Psycommonsense’ website.

Your patient will be known to us only as a code number, which we will share with you. That will ensure total confidentiality, based on anonymity.
